Course Dates
4th January 2021
Our A2 CofC is a new Competency assessment set out as part of the new European Regulations, this will come into effect in the UK on the 1st January 2021. Having an A2 CofC certificate will allow you to operate within the Open Category / Subcategory A2.
The Subcategory A2 (fly close to people) allows the remote pilot to fly a C2 aircraft down to a maximum distance of 30m horizontally from uninvolved people. Or up to 5m in ‘low speed mode’ when finalised by the CAA.
During our 1 day course we will cover 3 modules as set out by the CAA; Meteorology, UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) Flight Performance and UAS Operating Principles. Some of the basics we will cover are Emergencies, weather impacts and battery safety, to finish off you will sit a multiple choice theory test.
